A frozen food label works in conditions that are
an extreme test for the adhesive and the material at the same time:
storage at temperatures down to -25°C, repeated
thaw-and-freeze cycles during distribution,
condensation every time it’s taken out of the freezer,
greasy gloves during packing and unpacking.
Standard adhesives lose their grip at low
temperatures and the label peels off the packaging
before the product reaches the end customer.
We produce our frozen food labels from materials
specially selected to perform at low temperatures:
freezer-grade PP film with an adhesive that stays active at temperatures
from -25°C, retaining full grip throughout
the entire life cycle of the product regardless of the number of
freeze and thaw cycles. The material doesn’t lose its dimensions
in the cold, doesn’t crack and doesn’t lose transparency —
the colour and print stay unchanged from the packing line
all the way to the store shelf.
The print on frozen food labels must be legible
in refrigerated conditions, through frost-covered
packaging and under the lighting of a refrigerated store
display. We print with a resolution and contrast
optimised for these conditions — a light background,
crisp black typography, clear barcodes
scannable through a layer of frost.
Production from 100 rolls, in 3–5 working days.
